Mark Brown’s adaptation of Jules Verne’s AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS is a fast paced, laugh a minute romp that allows room for the romance between Phineas Fogg and Aouda. In the score, I introduced a love theme near the end of Act One that carries over into Act Two and underscores a handful of lyrical moments, including the sail powered sled journey across the snow covered plains of the United States.
